April Darcy is from Jersey City, New Jersey. Her work has been shortlisted for Glimmer Train's Short Story Award for New Writers and Family Matters competitions, the Hunger Mountain Creative Nonfiction Prize, and the Iowa Review Nonfiction Prize.
