Amy Reading is a

writer based in Ithaca, NY. She received a PhD in American Studies from Yale University in 2007. She is the author of The Mark Inside: A Perfect Swindle, a Cunning Revenge, and a Small History of the Big Con. She is currently working on a literary biography called Katharine S. White Edits the New Yorker, forthcoming from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
