William Dunlap

William Dunlap is a writer, arts advocate, teacher, cyrator and widely acclaimed painter whose work has been displayed or commissioned by the Corcoran Gallery, the National Academy of Science the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Mississippi Museum of Art, Ogden Museum of Southern Art. He studied at Mississippi and the University of Mississippi and taught at Appalachian State University and Memphis State University. Books of his images and words have been published by the University of Mississippi Press, and now he is the author of Short Mean Fiction (Nautilus, 2016), a collection of short stories with drawings. His work has frequently been featured in Shenandoah, both on paper and on-line.
