Barbara Hamby

Barbara Hamby has published five books of poetry and a book of short stories, Lester Higata's 20th Century, which won the 2010 Iowa Prize and was published by the University of Iowa Press. "The Lost Boys of Wai'anae" is a chapter from a novel set in Hawai'i during the 1960's. Other stories have appeared in Five Points and Boston Review, which published "Dole Girl," winner of the 2015 Aura Estrada Short Story Contest.
