George Singleton

Author of two novels (Novel and Work Shirts for Madmen), George Singleton is a prolific creator of hilarious and sorrowful short stories, which have been compiled in seven collections, most recently Calloustown (2015). He has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Hillsdale Award for Fiction awarded by the Fellowship of Southern Writers, an organization which inducted him in 2015. He currently holds the John C. Cobb Endowed Chair in the Humanities and teaches at Wofford College.
