Kate Osana Simonian is an Armenian-Australian hailing from Sydney. A PhD candidate at Texas Tech, she is completing her debut novel, Australialand. Her work has been published by Iowa Review,Michigan Quarterly Review, Chicago Tribune, and Best Australian Stories. Recent honors include the Nelson Algren Award.
