Shah Tazrian Ashrafi

Shah Tazrian Ashrafi is an MFA candidate at University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is a graduate teaching assistant. He is currently working on a story collection and a novel. His works appear and are forthcoming in Shenandoah Literary Magazine, Third Coast Magazine, Mekong Review, Himal Southasian, The Caravan, and the Daily Star, among other places. He has been longlisted for Global Undergraduate Awards (2022) and Asian Prize for Short Story (2024). His works have been supported by fellowships from South Asia Speaks, Write Beyond Borders, and KAS Media Programme Asia.
