Teri Vela (she/her/hers) is a queer Latina poet, mother, and former public interest attorney. She is an assistant poetry editor with Split Lip Magazine, a poetry reader with Abode Press, and a graduate of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her work can be found in Villain Era, Honey Literary, Gordon Square Review, Troublemaker Firestarter, and more. Teri stands in solidarity with the liberation of all oppressed peoples.
