Jordan Young
Jordan Young (she/he/they) is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University (BA English Creative Writing) and an admitted graduate student to the University of Cambridge. Her poetry focuses on the modern pressures of identity and how she navigates these struggles as an individual. She is currently pursuing an MFA and plans to start a small press. She is the 2023 winner of Southern Methodist University’s Margaret Terry Crooks award, the 2024 and 2025 recipient of Southern Methodist University’s Marsh Terry Scholarship, and the 2024 2nd place winner of Southern Methodist University’s David R. Russell Memorial Poetry Prize.
